Saturday, September 03, 2005 After my previous public outcry for a Chinese tutor to aid me in furthering my education in that beautiful language, many have came foward to provide their time and service. Much to my surprise, all of them offered to do it voluntarily. I was so touched by their kind gratitude that i swear that I won't open a conversation regarding the tuition fees with my tutor-to-be, in the near future. After much consideration and consultation with my panel of advisors, I have come to a conclusion. To those of you whom I rejected, I truly apologise sincerely. It's not a matter of preference, neither it is about merit. At the end of the day, it all bores down to instinct. I feel that this future Chinese tutor of mine is of the highest calibre (whoops!) among all of those who applied for this prestigious post. I truly believe that my understanding of the language will drastically improve should I be under his guiding wings. Thus, that concludes the reason for my choice. The identity of this person shall not be revealed much here. I'm only going to make public his real name, his address, IC number, age, qualifications, CCA, and his areas of interests. Not much right? Only 7 to be exact. You can count them with your fingers, if you don't believe me. I have seen this tutor-to-be of mine before and at one point his face does makes me wanna puke. Blame the number of times I have to face him. HAVE TO. no escape from that. but nevertheless, I will be more interested in the lessons that he will give me, not the contour of his face. In fact, he has promised me a value-added service that is F.O.C, if i pass my very first test under him. such care and concern for a tutee. that's what made me chose him out of the numerous who came foward with their applications. (not based on preference, not based on merit?) he said passionately, "I heard you want to learn Chinese right? Come, I teach you. I can give you bonus also. I'll teach you Hokkien." that was the 'finishing' move by my tutor-to-be. no questions asked. and did I give you an impression that it's a male rather than a female? if i did, i apologise for so 'cause it aint the truth. it's a SHE. a very beautiful and elegant SHE, whom I was attracted to at first sight till I have to face the fact that I have to face her almost everyday, for a few years, last time. SHE's an angel sent down by God to help those in need of her, especially men. SHE can always be spotted lurking around, looking for potential customers, especially in the Geylang district. SHE was trying to promote herself as an absolutely fabulous Chinese tutor of course, giving out flyers to anyone who crosses her boundary. I don't need to go through all those trouble of course. perhaps she was God-send to me. in case you see her on the streets in the near future, please do acknowledge and recognise her as the tutor to the ever-brainless fi3. okay. enough of my talking. it's finally time for me to present you my tutor-to-be. (i'm so honoured, you know.) ![]() Yep. that's her. you still don't trust me do you? well, let me show you more evidence. ![]() Now, this is a bit tricky. but read carefully and you should be able to comprehend my message to you readers out there. that's me, on the far left. the one that looks like a girl, is actually a guy. that's right, the one at the far right. now the middle person, IS, my Chinese tutor-to-be. and she's a SHE. yep, you guessed correctly. the one who is promoting world peace. (she participated in Miss Singapore before but didn't get through. the security guard forbids her from entering the audition place. but she did try, didn't she?) her name is XIA JIAHONG. i found it a bit too 'guy' to be a girl's name but i respect her for that. He told me that he will only be covering the module "Vulgarities" throughout my the whole tuition classes with him. i was wondering if i'll be getting a Diploma in Chinese Studies or will it be a Diploma in Vulgarities? tell me my dear readers, please give me your views. I have not started my lessons yet but the date is drawing closer each day. should i carry on having HER as my tutor or should i abort the idea altogether? 'cause her appearance is freaking me out and i'm starting to have doubts about her now. i need some advices now, please. PS: the writer of this controversial post is still senile. he still recognises his old gay partner as what he is. 'cause he simply can't forget what his gay partner has done to him. if his gay partner happens to read this post, please don't be offended. 'cause my intentions are true-to bring up your name in this blogosphere.hey buddy, i'm doing my part to raise your profile here! |
