'Scrapped Princess'. That's what this picture is all about. It's an amine, by the way. The first for me. Okay, Kenneth did show me a bit of 'Bleach' and Elf introduced 'Karas' to me despite it being only a preview but 'Scrapped Princess'? I watched it from the beginning to the end. 24 episodes in all.

I could have completed all at once but I couldn't afford LASIK surgery, so I gotta rest my eyes. Also, I was kind enough to think of my neighbours when the thought of watching the anime all at one go harboured in my mind. A short circuit in my block will do no harm to me. Just a few complains, shoutings and blaming. The real drama will take place only when daylight breaks. That's when I'll feel weight of the tag '
WANTED: Dead or Alive' that's hung over my shoulders.

'Scrapped Princess' may look girly. My friend initially said I may not like it 'cause it's more to the girls side. I was thinking, were there a lot of naked bodies and stuff? If it's so, I really don't mind if it caters more to the feminine side. But, nah... I guess she said so just 'cause the main character in this anime is a girl. A 15-going-to-be-16-year-old girl that is. (
Thanks Khee Hoon for lending me the anime. Sorry to get hold of it 'illegally', ya!. Should have asked your permission directly first. Heh.)

Since this was my first, there were many firsts that I encounter as well. While the graphics, animation and storyline was
EXPECTED to be good, the physical nature of the characters were certainly NOT!

ATTN: Girl in red and white

See those boobs? They're freaking... water bomb-like!!! I don't know if the white clothing is her bra but she's not a Superman-wannabe, is she? Wearing undergarments on the outside... what the hell?

And lemme tell you something. I bet there are more animes out there, which give special attention to women. (
See lah! Complain some more lah! Sexist lah, unjust to the opposite sex lah. Now got free publicity already, still complain. Haiyah...)

The best part is, despite all their vigorous running from monsters and such, their boobs ain't bouncy a little bit!
NO! Amazing, eh? I suppose that's good news to the ladies but bad news to the men! If only the ladies could get hold of that kind of 'high-tech' bra, then Men would have one less option when oogling at ladies! HAH!

I wonder what will happen when that becomes a reality...

"Take that, Ah Pek! Always looking at my chest! HMPH!" goes one lady in the bus.

"Aiyah when God closes a door, he will keep one window open one! Now I can focus on your legs and buttocks!" exclaimed the Ah Pek.

"WHOA! Ah Pek ah! Your language very the chim hor!" the bewildered lady replied.

"Eh, don't look down on me okay. I last time got 'A' for my ang moh, okay! By the way, those two things dangling from your chest looks like the water bombs I used to play with my friends. We will grab the water bombs and...

"EH! EH! Save me the details Ah Pek. I don't want to hear it." said the disgruntled lady.

"WHAT??? After we grab then we throw at people lah! What were you thinking? Haiyoh, yellow-minded people we have nowadays."

Sorry to have digressed. 'Scrapped Princess' can be a touching anime yet with a disappointing ending. But still it's worth the watch. It may look childish to those who prefer bloodshed and gore but hey, it does teaches you a thing or two about life! ;)
