The writing's on the wall- I'm not the happiest guy in SP after today. My team didn't win the match. It ended in a draw instead. '2-2' reads the scoreline but it should really have been our day today.

But things didn't go as bad. Looking at the bright side, I scored a goal. Yes, you've read it right. A GOAL!!!!! Can you actually believe that?!?!?

If I'd said I scored thorugh a freekick, perhaps you could marvel me. But if I were to say that the ball went into the goalmouth after it missed a whole bunch of men, what will you response be? Tyco lah, just my luck lah, yada yada yada lah...

Even though you find it hard to believe me, I shall admit that my recount IS true. The ball basically whizzes through the everyone till my teamates started to shout "GOAL!!!!!". Only then did I realise that I have tyco-ly scored a goal. How even the goalkeeper managed NOT to see the ball fly into the net is anyone's guess. For once I feel as if I'm on cloud nine when my team congratulates me. For once I think I was in dreamland.

But reality sets in far too quickly I guess. I really contributed nothing to the team. Nil. Kosong. I ran around the field like a headless chicken in a farm, kicking only mud along the way. I think my fitness let me down this time. With that, I must run for 20KM, swim 50 laps and bike for 10KM from tomorrow onwards. But come to think of it, I might as well go for a triathlon rather than playing soccer if my training is really that rigorous.

The next match will be on the upcoming Wednesday against DE. With that in mind, I'm torn between my soccer match and the trip to the Library @ Esplanade for my CWC. I hate dilemmas. Having it= incurring opportunity costs=Econs!!! And I don't wanna be reminded of it!

Say... what's this guy here I see munching on potato chips and sipping Coke when he knows that he has to take care of his body for the crucial match next week? He must be preparing himself to be a Santa for this coming Chirstmas, I suppose.
