Imagine yourself reading the short 'movie trailer' below in a low, husky voice.

Brokeback Mountain...

...a tale of love...

...between two people...

...whom you might have already realised by now...

...that they are GAYS!!!

This movie got numerous OSCAR nominations, if you had not known. Funny enough, movies that aren't really favourites among us are those which, somehow in one way or another, manage to win the highest accolade.

Who remembers the movie 'Million Dollar Baby'?

I didn't even bother to get my ass off from my seat and onto to the cinema's to catch it!

And it's a nominee for 'Best Picture' back in 2004. Crap.

Does 'Seabiscuit' rings a bell to you?

It's a nice movie, yeah... very touching and inspirational. It can even make you tear even if you're known to be the 'coldest' person in the cinema. (No pun intended there...)

Well that's what I heard from people 'cause...

I GAVE IT ANOTHER BIG MISS!!!

And guess what? I feel like killing myself back then when the OSCAR's nominees' list came out!

"Darn fucking hell, I should have jumped on the bandwagon and watched the show even if it means nothing to me except that it reminds me of the Singapore Turf Club in Kranji," I reflected, a little too late I guess.

You recall the tale of mutants with superhuman powers, aided by great computer graphics and brought together by superb custom animations? I am talking about X-Men 2 back in 2003 here.

It's damn great movie which kept me breathing till it rolls the last of its credits.

But horses? Neigh.

Chicken Little thought he had won an OSCAR award, at least for the worst cartoon EVER!

But better luck next time, bro. Maybe you should incorporate horses into 'Chicken Little 2'. Perhaps that could boost your chances of winning... at least something.

Here's the trailer to Brokeback Mountain, for you gays... ooops I mean guys.

This time, I'm gonna catch the movie. I hope the cinemas have special discounts if you bring your partners along, gay or not.
