Sunday, April 30, 2006 ![]() Champions of EPL 2005/2006 What a humiliation. Man U got thrashed 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's very own fortress. What the hell!!! Chelsea can lift the League trophy in front of many other teams but NOT Man U? It's such an unhonourable honour!!! And to add salt to the wound, Carvalho scored the last goal as if he's Chelsea's main striker all season. My brothers and I reached Chijmes at around 6.30, an hour before the kick-off and we were so jittery that we couldn't enter due to our age limitations. But surprise, surprise! There were a lot of bars but there were open-spaces too! Which means we are able to catch the BIG MATCH LIVE on the big screen. One major downturn: We had to stand. =( Cristiano Ronaldo, as flashy as your skills may look, you are really nothing. At least for now. You are such a failure at big games. Today's match goes to show just how immature you are. And Silvestre doesn't deserve to be a Man U player by any means. He just made the ah pek wandering near my block look like a world-class defender. We actually toyed with the idea of buying a drink and sit in the area designated for the pub patrons but in the end the manager told us that we need to spend at least $50 EACH before we can rest our bums on their seats. WOW! Any Worse still, Rooney got a bad, bad injury. The pain and agony written all over his face seem to show that he's gonna miss the World Cup this coming June. Terry was hobbling on the pitch just now too but he just refuses to go off. Now it looks as if he's gonna have a lengthy time on the treatment table. I'm like so packed these weekend!!! I don't even have time to go window-shopping! But let's see what'll happen on Monday. I hope the shops will still open despite it being Labour Day. Will it? Speaking of which, my mum promised to give me some part of her Progress Package money. YEAH BABY YEAH!!! But that money will most probably be used to make a new pair of specs and contact lenses. =( No Terry, no Ashley Cole, no Rooney; Campbell and Owen lacking match fitness. And the who's-gonna-be-England's-next-manager saga is just never ending and done so unprofessionally. Bye-bye to England in the World Cup? It's kinda sad but a reality after all.. I guess wearing my red underwear didn't work after all huh? Saturday, April 29, 2006 If you have approximately 1h and 22mins to spare, go and watch this video. I may seem biased 'cause I'm supposedly of the same religion as the guy who is widely related to the video above. But trust me, I didn't make my judgement based on my own sentiments. It's more of the evidences shown in the video. Videos can be edited you say? Watch the video and YOU tell me how fake it is. At the end of it, you'll realise that the crash of the WTC tower wasn't an act of terrorism. Ironically, it was the work this prominent figure who condemns the act of terrorism. Thursday, April 27, 2006 Ms Kwa, or rather one of her students, recommended this quiz-that-reflects-your-personality thingy and I decided to give it a shot. According to her, or rather one of her students, it is very freaky as it seems to be very, very accurate. So my test result goes as follows, which may or may not be 100% accurate depends on how you look at it and how well you know me...
But I'm dissastisfied with one aspect of my results. Here's an excerpt of the test results that I'm bu shuang (correct hanyu pinyin right?) with... WAH PIANG EH!!! Got nothing else to relate me to other than the word S-E-X is it? Say until I very depressed that I did it for the sake of doing and can't let all my raging hormones off. Like as if I'm an active partner who does it every night as a way to relieve stress. NO LOR!!! Today, as I was on my way back to my home I saw this white lorry with somewhat prominent flags mounted on it. As it sped off upon the traffic light turning green, I see familiar, prominent faces pasted on big, white boards smiling at me. WHOA!!! Imagine you're sitting in the bus, in the inner seat. It's red light at the traffic junction and this particular lorry stops exactly beside your bus. Then intuition tells you to wake up from your beauty nap because you're nearing your destination. And suddenly when you turn your face to the window to see where you are at... YOU ACTUALLY SAW A FEW FACES SMILING AT YOU!!! But don't worry, the chances of that happening to you are rated as 1/100 000 000. As long as you don't sleep in the bus for now till Then you can safely continue sleeping in the bus and not see smiling faces as the first thing you see when you wake up. =) Sunday, April 23, 2006 A normal conversation with a KFC staff stading behind the counter usually goes like this for me: Staff: Hi sir, can I have your order? Me: Can I have the 2-piece chicken meal? Staff: Upsize your drinks, sir? Me: No thanks. Staff: Anything else for you, sir? Me: No, that's all. Staff: That will be $5.95, sir. Me: Alright... and oh, can I have the breast meat please? (A nod seems to be the answer to this question and this question only, I noticed.) I don't know why today but whatever I said after this only happens today and it's certainly a first for me after 17 years of consuming their KFC's food. And so, I took went back to my seat where a friend of mine was already salivating away. Me: Wow, I didn't know a chicken's breast is so BIG!!! Friend: Man, you're sick... Then I began to eat the skin of the meat bit by bit... Friend: Looks like you're caressing the chicken there... Me: Oh man!!! but she sure is hot, literally! I can feel the heat coming out... Friend: Maybe she's... Me: Oh, stop it right there!!! Soon I found myself digging into the tender breast meat. And... I found a piece of soft bone seperating the huge chunk of meat into 2 parts! Me: Oh look!!! It's the cleavage! Friend: Eww... that's GROSS!!! Me: I'm a lucky bastard man; I got a sexy little chicken. Its cleavage runs as deep as the Nile River lah, can?!?! Friend: Go and eat the soft bone. It's nice! Me: Wah lau!!! You want me to... eat the cleavage?!?! NO!!! My friend sure is a crazy person. As if consuming a breast is not bad enough, she even wants me to have the cleavage disgested! Singapore still offers a variety of food for me to choose from before I can land my hands on a chicken's cleavage for consumption. I'm still beyond prepared from doing so... So I finished 1 big piece of the chicken's breast meat and... I found another breast meat staring at me! That beat me out. It was really a huge portion I must say. So damn huge that I actually made a point to only have 1 breast meat the next time I ordered it. And guess what I found halfway through munching down the second piece of breast meat? Yet another piece of the soft bone aka the cleavage!!! Me: Whooaaa... Don't scare me leh. This meat must be from another chicken right? Friend: No lah, the same chicken lah... Me: A chicken got 4 breasts meh!?!? 'cause I already found 2 cleavage leh!!! Friend: (laughs, laughs and more laughs) Me: Eh, I'm serious sia... like that the male chickens all very shuang ah. Mate 1 female chick-en who got 4 breasts. Whhooaa... not bad ah. HAHAHA!!! Friend: Shut up and eat up your food lah, you pervert. As much as I feel disgusted, I only realised that today, eating 2 breast meat, it's a good experience to have once in a while. Especially when you still have a packet of french fries and whipped potato to finish up after you're already done with the chickens. My drink was nowhere to be seen when I started on my fries. That thirsty I was handling chicken's breast meat... And I found the second piece of breast meat much nicer than the first! Moral of the story? "The breast is always nicer on the other side, chicken-wise that is." And don't apply that to humans. Well, let's put it this way... it may just not be the same case for humans as it is for chickens. Don't say I didn't warn you. =P Friend: How was it? Nice? Me: Yeah.. I'm very full right now... Friend: There you go, a satisfied customer who had 2 breasts... Me: WHAT!!! I don't have breasts, mind you!!! Friend: Haha! Okay, okay.. let me rephrase that. You're a satisfied customer who just had 2 breasts. Me: NO!!! That sounds awfully off! As if KFC is a place to get breast implants or what... Friend: OKAY!!! A satisfied customer who had just eaten 2 chicken breasts! Me: Ahh.. that sounds better... Breast meat anyone? Thursday, April 20, 2006 Everyone lives in a world where they fantasize a lot. Wait, let me rephrase that. Everyone lives in a world revolving around dreams, fantasies and the wildest imaginations. I'm no different from the majority of the human population too. Occasionally, I'd let my my mind free and wander it to a land called NeverNeverLand. I know, it sounds so cliche. But I'll still continue along that line.. Imagine having a special someone who has a voice that is capable rocking the Indoor Stadium way better than how The Click Five did during the Hollaback Crew Finals. One who can touch everyone's heart through the meaningful words of her song and on another occasion, put you into hot water 'cause your neighbour downstairs complained that you are tearing her ceiling apart. Imagine that special someone goes by the name of Kelly Clarkson... ![]() How wonderful... All of a sudden, I find myself at the relaxing at one of the breakwaters by the beach, admiring the blue skies as planes fly past from afar. As I tucked my shades up the crown of my head, I saw the hottest girl of all the hottest hot girl in my 'Hottest Hot Hot Girl' list. We made eye contact and she gave me that flirtatious look that made my already-raging hormones roar to life. Within the blink of my eye, I find her sitting right beside me and we're already in the midst of sharing our deepest thoughts in mind. Ahh... Jes..sica... Al...ba... ![]() But then I quickly find myself back in a school environment, rushing for a class which I was late for. First class of the semester some more. And a class which I don't know who the lecturer will be except for today. I kept picturing a pretty, young lady standing in command of the class Someone in the mould of Suzanne Jung... But wait, isn't that part of my fantasy a reality right now? Suzanne Jung, the Channel NewsAsia newsanchor, my lecturer for my Feature Writing module? Well, that I ain't dreaming. 'cause she really is.. Read more about her here. I read/heard/seen somewhere that she's attached to this Korean guy though. =( But it's good enough that she appears right before me every Thursday. As for the other days, I'll rely on my ever-reliable TV set. To keep myself updated about the news everyday, of course. You know what's an essential part of our life right.. *coughsehemcoughs* Oh man, Thursdays suddenly is so meaningful to me this semester... Am I still dreaming? Saturday, April 15, 2006 ![]() The aftermath of Good Friday, or rather a public holiday... It started off with a game of pool over at Lucky Plaza-I still suck at it-after which seeds of narcissism starts to grow in us. Then we started producing amatuer 'music videos' using Haikal's Walkman phone which reminded me of the infamous 'Tammy NYP' clip. That Haikal, he just can't stop taking self-portaits can he? I think he's worse than any other camwhores that I know. But at least I know he got the looks to show for unlike majority of others. Perhaps that's one good reason why I don't take self-portraits... that much. We dropped over at Heeren's ADIDAS shop and got a chance to play FIFA on XBOX360! Gosh... I swear that the graphics were superb, nothing like what I've seen before in my whole entire life! And no, the plasma screen did not play much of a role in making the graphics look totally outta this world. ![]() If only I can get my hands on this baby... If 'she' was a prostitute, she would ask for $660/-... Which is quite cheap actually in the market, I think! Later in the evening, we went over to the NIKE shop at Cineleisure. There, I realised that I'm split for choice. You see, I wanna get myself a new pair of street soccer shoes and both ADIDAS and NIKE came out with new designs in conjunction with the World Cup that's gonna be held in June. My last 2 pairs were of ADIDAS ones and of course, I would like to get a taste of NIKE's. ![]() ![]() School's starting next week already. So fast time flies, at least for now when the school reopening date nears. I wanna push myself up to gear 5 and study hard for the upcoming semester. After which I can excel in my studies and have my face up in the Honours' Roll. NAHH!!! I shall slack a bit here and there. I mean I'm not Honours' Roll material lah. Graduating with 40-odd distinctions and a few Bs and no Cs or Ds at all?!?! It's just not me lahh... Hollaback Crew, The Click Five... here I come! Rock the Indoor Stadium guys!!! I'll be back with updates this little adventure of mine. Hopefully, I can get to snap good pics. =D Thursday, April 13, 2006 I was stunned when I read this. If you're not a soccer fan, obviously you'll be taken aback by the title. But if you ARE a soccer fan, you'll be feeling the same and more too! 7-2 leh the final score! Our national U-23 team beating a Malaysian team by that scoreline and there's still a second leg over at Kuching, Sarawak to play for! Whoa, I hope they can put up a good fight over there and show who's the real Lion and who's the real Kuching. Anyway, FOP came to an end yesterday which made me ponder, "Am I a good fac?" And I think I'm not, you know. Somehow, my gut feeling says so. Hmmm... but what's most important is that DMC 04 enjoyed themselves in whatver way it is, particularly SLACKING. It isn't always everytime that they get to enjoy such freedom especially when their previous 10 years or so of education is based on a 'flag-raising ceremony, 45-min a period, 30-min recess and assembly' kinda routine! DMC 04 is very much like my class, in a few ways. There's only 4 guys, among which one of them is a Malay. And there's an Yi Jing-lookalike, Elf-personalityalike, Poh Ying-namealike. There's even a Min-hairalike! And Poh Ying, the lame one from MY class, die die say that there's a Fitri-lookalike in her class. What's her name again? Nurul? OMG, when did I start to look like a girl. She's born in '87 though! My long-lost sister? Haha, I bet our personalities differ grrrrrrreatly. That Sandydandy made me so paiseh lah yesterday! And 'cause of that she kept calling me loser. That stupid Makcik KPO.. sheesh. But luckily I was thick-skinned enough. If not, I would have blushed and ran out of the room and into the toilet and into the cubicle and... yeah, that's it. I wanna make a new pair of specs! But my Mum kept using the stupid Progress Package money, which gets into her account only on 1st May, as a reason to delay my request! I saw a nice pair at Wisma but it costs a freaking $180 bucks? Or is it a much more freaking $300-odd bucks? Either way, I don't think I can lay my hands on them. But I'll take the design as a base for my choice. It was really nice... Already getting a pair of new specs is like getting a bonus from your boss-once after a long time. What more getting a digicam whose price is like double or triple the cost of a pair of specs? Urgh.. Guys, check this out. Probably the next best thing after Joga Bonito. I'm really impressed after seeing their commercial. But then again, I bet ALL Brazillians are similar. Skill. Flair. Genius. Finals at Siloso Beach lehh!!! I hope I can join soak in the fun and atmosphere too. =) Tuesday, April 11, 2006 Today's Freshman Orientation Programme(FOP) bears a striking difference as compared to yesterday. First, the weather. The sun was unforgiving yesterday and poor freshies had to play games that lasted for nearly and hour from the tennis courts to the basketball court to the field. I can't say much about the weather today though 'cause no matter what it is, we're all under the roofs of the Converntion Centre. 'Slack' was the keyword today. The Convention Centre became the place for me to hibernate for a while as the show unfolds on stage. And of course the freshies too. From the Principal's speech (it's a new video! my goodness!) to the beauty pageant, I was practically warming my seat my my On the contrary, freshies had to rev up their engines and 'vroom' here and there for the games yesterday. I guess the only time that they actually sat down is when they first get to know their classmates for the next 3 years and during lunch time. By the end of the day, it was so understandable that they looked so shagged and worn out. But my class very the on one. They stayed back and exchange numbers, forcing me to keep on hearing Reynold's ringtone over and over again. Which makes me wonder why the rest are on silent mode and his is NOT!!! So now you know who's Mr. Popular in class. So by today, I got to know through blog-hopping, most of them already had each others' HP numbers and they even MSN-ed already. Which is to no surprise of course. I'm pretty impressed by their unity, motivated by the magic word, SLACK, of course. They may not be the most enthusiastic bunch around nor are they the most dead ones but they are willing to stick together. Which is good enough for a start. I even heard of plans of making a class tee for their own class already. Can someone please tell me that it is only the second day of orientation today here??? Tomorrow is Flag Day, which is not really the way to end off an orientation programme unless you don't play by the rules of course. Which I think most will unless you really are damn serious about it. I think NP's idea of having a 4D 3N overnight camp is much, much, much better than SP's FOP. Students of SP, armed with tin cans, will be invading islandwide from 8.00am to 3pm. You are advised to stay indoors. Remember, you have been warned. OMG. I can't believe it that I can have the chance to go to the Hollaback Crew Finals this Saturday. Bryant, the beatboxer, had 300 tickets on hand!! Can you believe that?!?! I mean, 987 FM only had 50 to give out on the spot itself and Bryant has 300?!?!? Gosh... I gotta thank Joanne profusely for having close links with Bryant. If not, I won't even get the chance to even dream about it. Cheryl, despite what you said about not bitching about people in blogs, I'm still gonna do it. This time about the FOP. Maybe not today 'cause the whole event hasn't ended yet. Perhaps tomorrow. Already the gahmen doesn't allow us to blog negatively about the elections (see how influential blogs have become?), now I'm not allowed to talk about my opinions on what's going through in my life? Anyway, it's just my view on the FOP. Certainly that is NOT a form of bitching, is it? I gotta catch some sleep. After I catch my weekly dosage of EPL highlights that is. In the faintest of hopes, I still believe that Man Yoo can pip Chelski to the title. 'cause I believe in miracles. Sunday, April 09, 2006 Presenting, the proud owner of the Miss Singapore Universe 2006 crown... ![]() Carol Cheng This 26-year-old art director also bagged the 'Miss Beautful Body 2006' accolade. Wah lau!!! I can't believe my eyes! I HAVE to catch the repeat telecast. No matter what, I HAVE TO. I know this is just a dream. The fact that I didn't catch it 'live' says it all. I just gotta see it with my own eyes. Jade Seah is the winner of MSU 2006... Jade Seah... Jade... You won't believe what guys will do when we are bored. Frankly speaking, I always thought guys are boring people. I mean, other than playing soccer, or any other kind of balls (oops!), we either go play pool, arcade or computer games to fill up our free time. Counter-strike, DOTA, Maple Story, FIFA... and the list goes on and on. It's not that I don't get into these kinda things but just not on regular basis. Not like those hardcore addcits who swear by the computer that they'll die without their mechanical support. Rarely, and I really mean rarely do guys like shopping. Unlike me. But with that said, I will have no mood for shopping unless I've the mood and cash too. Window-shopping is, of course, another thing altogether. Anyway, my friends and I were so bored after soccer today that we ran out of ideas on where to hang out until the idea of going to one of our houses came knocking on our already-dead brains. So off we went to Sembawang to one of my friend's house, and I seriously didn't know we could do what we did just now. No, nothing crude though. We actually toyed around with the idea of re-creating one of the Joga Bonito ads, but this time with a little bit of a Singaporean touch to it. An Indian Eric Cantona, a Malay Cristiano Ronaldo and what-have-you. After which we had high hopes of putting it on YouTube so that many can view and critique it. But us, being guys with no discrimination towards guys of any kind, did away with that idea 'cause it it was all far too crappy and our video... well, let's say it's not even a video at all in the first place. The next best thing we did was to become part-time LIME magazine teen model REJECTS. Yes, thanks to my friend's huge collection of clothes, we had the chance to mix and match different attires and see which one is best suited for poly guys. Such vainpots we are!!! Looking at the mirror and posing for the camera as if we are in a mini-studio for a real photoshoot. One word to describe it-OMG! (Okay fine, the short form is one word.) ![]() ![]() I wanna upload more pictures but my friend didn't send me the others!!! You think we looked bad? Blame the lighting, no make-up applied; it's done au naturale. But then again, you wanna see rejects meh? REJECTS leh... Next on the list? Attempt to transform a pair of normal looking jeans to a pair of faded and rugged one. So snip, snip, snip went the pair scissors, scrape a bit here and there and WA LAH!!! It looks like shit. No, it looks kinda nice actually... it just needs a little bit more 0f snipping here, a little bit more over there and you'll have a limited pair of jeans, specially made by the 3 of us. It's really something that we are proud of as first-timers!!! We just need more practise, that's all. Just provide us with unused pair of jeans and we will zhng it to a new one. Err, a note of concern: no money back guarantee. Now who's the stupid idiot who said that guys are boring ah? WHO!?!?! It takes no time to fall in love But it takes you years to know what love is It takes some fears to make you trust It takes some tears to make it rust It takes some dust to make it polished Jason Mraz, 'Life Is Wonderful' That thing called love, does it really exist? It starts off with a sweet mouth, melting a stubborn heart, promises exchanged; "I love you forever" but at the end of the day, you know there's no such thing as an eternal love, at least for now. For love doesn't last forever, at least for now. That thing called love, does it really exist? Thursday, April 06, 2006 Every semester, without fail, students of SP will particpate in a prestigious event which pushes their grit, concentration and endurance to their limit. This event requires nothing at all except a computer with an Internet connection. And of course, it needs no preparation unless you consider double-checking that your PC has been connected to the power socket as a preparation. That, my friends, I have nothing to say. Introducing, 'ChooseyourGEMsandmakesurethatyouchoseitright becauseyou'regonnatakeitforonewholesemester Day'. Background info: GEMs is a module you take outside of whatever you study in so as to let you explore the inner interests in you and develop them further, helping you to nurture into a better student-one of SP's main aim when a student joins this school. It sounds profound, but seriously your main aim is either to slack or to really, really to slack. And students generally prefer the latter. The rule of the event? Fastest fingers first. The objective? To choose the GEMs of your choice. Reward? Instant euphoria or a semester-long sadness. Frankly speaking I find it stupid. 'cause I find myself like an idiot sitting in front of the PC and in kan chiong mode, waiting for the clock to strike 4pm. (You're given a certain time to register for your GEMs, you see.) When it finally does, I need to hurriedly type in the module of my choice and choose the class that I want. After which, the whole process is over and your registration for GEMs is complete. But it doesn't sound as easy as it does!!! Seats are limited and I swear, they would be snapped up within the first 30 seconds. After which you'd be left with those 'kanasai' modules which you have no choice but to register for them 'cause GEMs is compulsory for everyone! I actually shouted "CHIONG AHHHH!!!!" when the clock strikes 4. I hope my neighbours can understand the labour that I am going through then. And thanks to your kind understanding, I got into the GEMs module of my choice, 'Maths games and puzzle'. Together with two of my classmates. =D There were 3 seats left and Kyun got the first of the 3 just because she did a 'cheat code'. She play cheat! Referee kayu ah! =p That girl, I'm just enlightened by the fact that she's not a Minah. That's all... Shall we go to Yishun Stadium more often? Perhaps become an ardent supporter of Sporting Afrique. =) Shall we? I just wanna go shopping; I need retail therapy. BADLY. I'll be getting my pay soon, and then I'll be off to shop-hop! MARINA SQUARE!! My shopping haven! But of course, I haven't forgotten the classic Bugis Street and occasionally, the everytime-the-same-one Orchard Road. Don't you think that it's glamour is only on the outside, as in the beatiful girls and handsome guys sashaying down the streets when what's sold is actually more or less the same everywhere? Still, a drop down there once in while won't tire my mind out. =) I just got a new-found love. Maybe it's your image, maybe it's not. Suddenly, my love for you blossomed. I don't know why, but it happened... I love you, TOPMAN. HAHAH! Gotcha! But seriously, I think I'm falling for TOPMAN. And no, I'm not gay 'cause TOPMAN is not human. It's such an obvious fact already right? Okay, I'm underestimating people's intelligence here. TOPMAN's stuffs are nice... and pricey too. A cap can cost $29 bucks? But it's worth the design though! I'm attracted to the tops too! And the belts! Cool-ness! Haha! But the jeans... I guess I'll stick to cheaper alternatives. The membership card is sooooooooo darn attractive. But you have to spend $150 on a single receipt in order to get hold of one. WTH!!! 150 FREAKING DOLLARS LEH!!! I made a pact with my friend about it-to spend $75 each-and thus get the card. I only have their cap in mind now, I'm still pondering how to use up the other $46. By the way, anyone knows of a FOSSIL shop that sells its merchandises other than watches here? Minus off the cufflinks and bags also; I know it's available at Heeren. I mean, look at this. Something I wish to spell C-R-E-A-T-I-V-I-T-Y... ![]() ![]() ... and cheeky too. Like me right? =p And it's double-sided. Imagine going to lectures in the morning, bearing the guai side of me. Wear specs, wear the much more 'decent' side of the shirt and then come night time... HELLO MOS!! HELLO ZOUK!!! Out come the vainpot me, with contact lenses and the 'wild' side of the shirt. HAHA! =D Sounds like a 'Jekyll & Hyde' story there. Hmmm... come 18, will I be different? I hope I will, positively. =) Wednesday, April 05, 2006 What is love? When it bears to meaning? When it is not repaid? When it is all but lost, vanquished in thin air. Where is love? When all your efforts reaps no rewards, When the search for it reads 'FAILURE', When you know you've played your last card. It has been thus far, that we walked the same path in life. It has been thus long, that we crossed each others' names on our hearts. As I looked back at the path that we've taken, I saw footsteps, yours and mine. Now, I find myself all alone. Solitude. Isolated. As I bring myself to look at the horizon ahead, a clear path awaits me. Will I venture into it with a new set of footsteps? Or will it be of the same kind as before? I shake my head, and breathed out a deep sigh I see hope, laughter and joy; tears welled my eyes. I am still accompanied by lost memories. But one thing's for sure, It's all up to me now. And guess what? I've started to carve out my own path. Alone. Solitude. Isolated. Monday, April 03, 2006 Today's date reads as follows - 03/04/2006. Good news: School's starting soon. Bad news: School's starting soon. Contrary to popular's belief (not), we shall all start with the bad news first. *ahemahem* if you could excuse me... When I received my timetable for the upcoming semester, I immediately looked out for the first slot which shows classes that starts at 8 in the morning. There were 2. Which isn't exactly considered bad when you still have the chance to choose a GEMs class that doesn't start at 8. But then again, I wonder... how many times can I afford to be late? Last sem, I had only a miraculously 1, JUST 1, 8 am class. And holy shit, I was already late countless times and not forgetting the fact that there were only a few in class everytime I was punctual. Then again, I was greeted by those head-on-the-table and half-opened-eyes kinda look. AND it was yet ANOTHER miracle to have an angel in the mould of a lecturer - why not the vice versa? - bearing the name of Mr Andrew Ang. He was our Mr. Nice Guy last sem. Patient, understanding and caring. But that's only true for about 1/6 of most of the time. 'cause however angelic he is, he's still human by nature. emotions. feelings. ego. geddit? I guess lightning wouldn't strike the same spot twice. Still I hope my prayers can be answered, provided it doesn't get filtered through when they are on their way to God. Phyllis M Peter and Christian James Sethmohan doesn't sound like your average Mr Goh or Mrs Tan that used to greet you every morning after you had your flag-raising ceremony, do they? By the way, who does the latter refer to? He's teaching my class Digital Media Applications and throughout my the whole of last year, I've never ever heard of this guy. If Shan Wee can defy the odds of a typical cheena man, I hope this guy sticks to his roots. At least his name sounds ang moh. start of school=beginning of yet another stressful term in school But that's beside the point. You see, my holidays have been fruitful. I have days whereby I see nothing planned throughout the whole of a week. Luckily I have those impromtu plans which I swear would make you feel great 'cause they just perks your yet-another-boring-day up. I also have days whereby I have back-to-back programmes like the Expedition and class chalet which I went through a few weeks ago. And not forgetting meetings for the Farewell party. And Freshman Orientation is also coming up! It is something which I really look foward to to... well fill up the empty spaces in my planner. So the thought of losing all these carefree days and substitute them with school days just suck sometimes. But that's life I guess. You have the good times and the bad times. These holiday meant a lot to me especially when I am able to establish a close rappot with my friends, namely Herwan and Haikal. Not to say the others are forgotten 'cause we do meet every weekend for some ball-whacking sessions! Erm, soccer I mean... But I'm closer to these two due to our common 'interest' right now- our bo liao-ness. We really, really, really have got nothing to do! I am having my break and they're waiting for their virgin year in NP to kick-off. It was only 2 years ago that I admit I can't quite accept Herwan maybe 'cause he's... different. Loud, outspoken and now I know, fun to be with! Haha! Haikal, needless to say, is still the tak boleh duduk diam punya orang (can't sit still kinda person), like how he is when I first knew him. But now, and 2 years later, it's a whole different story altogether. 2 years... I honestly didn't expect it to be that long. And we do share the same wavelength when topics like soccer, fashion and I hope we don't loosen the friendship as we meet less often. Okay, that refers to only me and them 'cause Haikal and Herwan are of the same course and are Bilor korang nak gi Sentosor? Hang kator nak gi, cepot-cepot ler. Nanti kang dah bukok skolar, dah tak jadi. Lincah-lincah eh plan... Err, ignore the lines that you don't comprehend. It's because of my lack of brain cells that I have to converse that way. No, no... it's really not your fault that you don't understand what I'm talking about there. =p Finally! The good news of school reopening soon! The food and the company of my poly-mates that I sorely miss! And of course, as much as I hate the names of my modules such as 'Legal Systems & Contracts' and 'Mass Media Research', I still look foward to the breath of fresh air. And I miss touching the camera!!! And Xiaolin as well! Err no wait, that's a bit off. The Xiaolin-rocks (XLR) cable and all, I mean. Haha! I just wanna film once more! Shiok ah! To my cousin Nadz, I realised so much about you after going out last Saturday. I mean you've changed so much! Much more mature, understanding and yeah... basically you've grown up! Must have been the 'O' level stress heating up on you eh? Haha! Thanks for all the advice that you've given. ;) The mat rep? Ditch him. 23-year-old, not worthy of pinning the 'Yellow Ribbon' across his chest, petty and childish. I still can't believe that you would melt over his adek punyer suare (child-like voice)!!! I think my Just to digress a bit here... Toddlers now are getting smarter by the day... Mum: R is for? Toddler: RABBIT! Mum: Very good! Now S is for? Toddler: Urm.. err...SUN!!! Mum: Yes! T is for? Toddler: Tiiigeeerrr... Mum: Oooohh.. Scary right? Okay... How 'bout U? Toddler: Umbrrelllaa!!! Mum: Nice one! V for? Toddler: Vendetta!!! Mum: !?!?!? ... 'cause they pay attention in front of their TV sets. I just have not been catching that movie YET! When.. just when... Ice Age is already out, Scary Movie's looming just ahead... Urgh! If you really got nothing to do, then go to the playground lor. Sit on the swing and stone. Stoning is so fun! -qianru I'll try that when blogging is as therapeutic to me as it is now. =) |
