Sunday, May 07, 2006 My camp just ended today and boy, oh boy... how I really need some rest and SLEEP!!! I'm developing really big, dark rings 'round my eyes already. Soon enough, you'll find my face replacing the panda prints on the tiny bits of 'Hello Panda' chocolates! Okay that was kinda cold I must admit. But you can't possibly fault me! I'm still feeling the freeze from the cold room, which turns out to be our bunks, after 2 consecutive nights of NO SWEATER, NO SLEEPING BAG AND NO JEANS/LONG PANTS! In the end, I had to use my towel as blanket and by the second night, my socks had to do the honourable duty of smelling my First night was torture because the seniors simply had nothing to do. The poor me was already shivering and the seniors still had the cheek to barge into the room at 3am in the morning to turn the lights on and off, lower the air-con temperature to 16 DEGREES!!! Holy shit! Already I had to sleep at around 1 am 'cause some of us were so enthu, overenthu actually, that we played floorball in the bunk itself. Drats. Second night was worse. Someone dialled the Rain God's hotline and better still, played a prank on 'Him'. Thanks so much for not considering me beforehand ah! And Sandy thinks she has 9 lives-suaning me that she has her warm and cosy bed to sleep on. I'll get her one fine day and treat her like how I like my potatoes to be. Laila! Why you leave first? Wasted lah you... I know the camp is what you think it was but at least stay on lah! But anyway, I think I recognise Khairul Anwar's little bro already (OMG! That sounds awfully off!!!). He's really a carbon copy of his bro except that I think we should give him some time before I compare them in terms of looks. =p The dish of the last dinner was amazing. We had beef and chicken and briyani rice, if I'm right! And the very next morning, there was nasi lemak! Ooohhh!!! No wonder for some odd reasons, some asshole chose to release his bowel at the showering cubicle in the Sports Hall toilet! And for that very reason, I had to go for another one which is of course of no better standard than others. What you expect in SP? I was already damn lucky to shower in the Sports Complex one which was equipped with a water heater. And of course a clogged drainage hole. Aite, 'nuff of camp already. Maybe I talk about it in another post. =) PAP won 82/84 seats for this GE. Do I give a damn? No I don't. Am I immature and naive on giving this heck-care attitude towards things that concern me as a Singaporean? Of course not, without a scent of ego-ism. Else, I wouldn't have known that WP won the Hougang and Potong Pasir constituencies. What do you look forward to when you reach 21? Vote? Vote when you know that PAP is gonna win the minute they announce that they are going to hold a GE? To those who had not reached that 'golden age' yet, go find something better to do for now. 8284. Get the idea yet? Now for random thoughts flowing through my mind... I want a Davidoff perfume. Or I shall be content with just an Oceanus spray from The Body Shop. =) And perhaps settle down with a pair of N.U.M sandals of my own. Tomorrow's Monday already and it seems that I'll be in SP for almost 14 consecutive days! That's like really, really NO LIFE MAN!!! Thank God there's Vesak Day this coming Friday. I would welcome it with open arms. I missed the 'Defend Your Turf' event at Sentosa yesterday. I missed my therapeautic window-shopping experiences this weekend. And I hope all can be recovered by next week. Yay-ness! Mission Impossible III is on my next-movie-to-watch list. Anyone wanna hit the movies for this supposedly blockbuster movie of the year? I was in the midst of a conversation with a friend, on the topic of guys. And a smile was carved on my face when she said that those 'loud and attention-seekeing guys' are only worth for your company for a short period of time. Thank God such people do still exist. Are there any more of such a character out there? |
