The weekend's here and sadly, there's little for me to shout joy for about it. Let's see here what I have put behind and what's in store next.

I'm done with:
  • FW Personality Profile (took me till the wee hours of the morning)
  • CONB Test
  • Law Test

and I have to 'look foward to':
  • DMA 1-min on camera presentation
  • OM Test
  • MMR presentation
  • FW CA1
  • ATTITUDE feature article on Connect '06
  • Residential project
  • Year 1 Training Camp
This is really a test for me. I'll perservere. I'll draw a strong heart to it. But sometimes, I just wish some people aren't so demanding and actually be humane enough to understand what others go through. I mean, c'mon... just take some time and look at what you've done. Do you really think you're THAT big a position? At least bear in mind this word, R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Already my 'weekend' mood is spoilt when the Law test had to be set today! A SATURDAY some more! CONB was worse off yesterday. We had to run all the way to the other side of the poly just to get to MLT 1. We were running late that's why. Literally running late. When we finally arrived at the LT, the whole freaking place was so humid.

It turned out to be the air-con wasn't turned on. Worse still, it can't be operated manually. So we have to wait like around 15-20 minutes before the air-cons started to 'breathe'. Of course by then, I'm already sweating as if I had a morning PT.

And MMR is like so freaking taxing! For every question of the survey that we came up to, there's bound to be at least some flaws in them. And when everything seems perfect, Xiaolin's voice had to ring our minds with her signature "It depends!!!". But thanks to that, we gave our survey a second look everytime. Else, we would have overlooked everything and seen it as perfect. =)

And I caught 'The Da Vinci Code' today! At the spank-ingly new Cathay Building over at Dhoby Ghaut! It was bad. I mean getting tickets were bad. By the time my friends and I set our eyes on the screen for booking tickets, most of the timeslots were on 'selling fast' mode. Even the 11.00 PM slots. Can you imagine that? Save for the after-midnight slots of course.

We did get seats but holy shit, we had to settle for the front row alright. Ouch my neck aches and my eyes... let's just say they are pretty alright now.

Want me to spoil the show for you? Well let's start off with me saying that it's 2 hours and 30 minutes long. Want more? Go catch the movie yourself. Just don't compare it so much with the book lah. Enjoy the show as the story unfolds.

I still feel that Tom Hanks isn't quite the Robert Langdon that I pictured. But Audrey Tautou as Sophie Neveu? Excellente!

My friends and I agreed that the Cathay Building is a good spot for couples, if you know what I mean. You need to actually walk through so many bends to get to the toilet. Now you get what I mean? And shops there are not quite finished yet. The same goes to the building as a whole. But don't worry. Bangla workers wheeling in wet sand into the building is not a common sight there.

I'm happy to finally have my virgin Carl's Jr visit
I'm happy to see 'Mini-me', in this case, a baby who resembles one
I'm happy to know that TOPMAN is having up to 50% discount
I'm happy to sing along to a song, played at the gig that goes,
'and I say... heyyyy eyyy eyyy eyyyy'
I'm happy to enjoy the breeze by the sea, or rather the river
I'm happy to find out that the Merlion not only has a son, and also a grandfather

I'm just happy to share those moments
with you
