Sunday, July 02, 2006 Alright for the benefit of those who thinks I'm speaking Greek in my previus 2 entries, here's your enlightenment. *UCCD = Understanding Cross Cultural Diversity CDA = Creative Digital Art I have to take a module (read:subject), out of 4, next semester which is not fixed but rather you have the power to choose which module you would wanna take. They are namely UCCD, CDA and 2 others. My preference was CDA followed by UCCD and then comes the other 2 modules as my last 2 options. Apparently I So last Friday was my 'Mini-Judgement Day' and yes, I managed to get into CDA. Roger that Faddy? =) Wohoo! I broke my duck and scored my very first goal! And it came from such a nice criss-cross move! I know it took me such a long time but I'm not playing as an attacker in games. Thus, my chances are kinda limited... and my skills? Well, let's just say I've not developed them yet. I know this sounds like a poor excuse, but who cares? Next week, a friendly with NUS first team aka the Super-fit and godly ones. It'd be nice to get a taste of their balls, I mean their skills on the ball. Sidetrack (1): When you see a family with a baby in the pram getting into the MRT train, will you give up the seat that you're at to them? I mean, the baby is resting his bums nicely IN the pram and the people who are gonna sit down is the fit and able parents, who are tired maybe just because of the pushing of the pram around? It's as good as giving a teenage guy draped in bling bling, Stussy shirt, Levi's jeans and BAPE shoes a seat minus the the sympathetic look of the pram. I just caught up with my primary school mate who stays near me but we haven't even met for close to 6 years!!! Talk about 'Impossible Is Nothing' here. I miss my primary and secondary school days. If I were to list the moments, I guess I'd be bor-ing all of you to death. But those are the days... which we have to leave behind and take nothing but memories. Sidetrack (2): I need to buy a blazer for one of my module's (DMA) presentation leh! And also for the rest of my poly years I guess. Plus my graduation(*prays hard) ...right?G2000 has the best deal- you get a matching pants free and 50% off a shirt. Cheapest deal? $90 if I'm not mistaken. But my concern is that how I'll look in a really smart outfit. I think it'll just accentuates my smartness and exudes my... well, that isn't really are a concern anymore, is it? =P |
